Moon Express is the first company with it sites on the Moon. It seeks to be the first to mine the moon in 2020. A stark departure from when governments were the only one's with enough resources to conduct such an operation. https://arstechnica.co.uk/science/2017/07/moon-express-lunar-outpost/ Read more at http://www.TheDailySheeple.com and Wake the Flock Up!

India has made plans to mine Helium-3 from the moon for their new hypersonic aircraft that can fly at 15K miles per hour, or 25 times the speed of sound. India and China have both already outlined a plan for acquiring the potentially huge commodity. We look at the value of this powerful new fuel source and the implications for nuclear fusion technology, in this Lip News clip with Gabriel Mizrahi and Lissette Padilla. www.thelip.tv Newest Lip News playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkLtTaPWsh0&index=1&list=PLjk3H0GXhhGcjJDo6cQBCQprDMQyUQY3r BUZZSAW interview clips - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnaGGDt_CQ8&index=1&list=PLjk3H0GXhhGeWhHPas6M9sKUhThquDNOc CRIME TIME clips playlist - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BUihCjuHyE&index=1&list=PLjk3H0GXhhGeC9DbpSnIvd2i9BHh2dBvv BYO...

Mining the Moon with Robots : Documentary on NASA and Designing Moon Mining Robots. This documentary will excite and amaze you, as will the rest of the documentaries on this channel. "Documentary," says the dictionary. "Noun. Based on or recreating an actual event, era, life story, that purports to be factually accurate and contains no fictional elements." This is useful, but a trifle over-cautious. Why shouldn't non-fiction contain elements of fiction? And why should something only "purport" to be factually accurate? It reeks of the old charges that docs are unreliable because they are filmed. When you describe anything, it is altered. The act of seeing modifies what is seen. Most people who watch docs understand this.No body of theory exists to legitimise docs and I'm grateful for t...
Moon Express, a California-based company co-founded by billionaire entrepreneur Naveen Jain, is currently developing and testing commercial robotic spacecraft to land on the moon with a targeted date of 2016; one future goal is to mine the lunar body for its valuable contents. A company backed by a billionaire entrepreneur has its sights set on one day mining the moon. Its plan is to send the first commercial robotic spacecraft to the lunar body in 2016 with subsequent trips for “ongoing exploration and commercial development.” The moon is known to contain vast amounts of valuable natural resources including gold, platinum, iron, and Helium-3 which is a valuable gas in nuclear power. Based in the NASA Ames Research Park in Mountain View, CA, Moon Express was founded in 2010 by thr...
Helium-3 is a very rare gas with the potential to fuel clean nuclear fusion power plants. However, one of the problems is that the nearest supply of helium-3 is on the Moon. This video by Christopher Barnatt discusses the nuclear physics, space exploration and global politics that may be involved in mining the Moon for helium-3. You can watch my updated "Mining the Moon" video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9EMcyfGMDA More information can be found in the "Helium-3 Power Fact File" on ExplainingTheFuture.com All visuals were produced for this video using LightWave and After Effects.

Forty-five years have passed since humans last set foot on an extraterrestrial body. Now, the moon is back at the center of efforts not only to explore space, but to create a permanent, independent space-faring society. Planning expeditions to Earth's nearest celestial neighbor is no longer just a NASA effort, though the U.S. space agency has plans for a moon-orbiting space station that would serve as a staging ground for Mars missions in the early 2030s. The United Launch Alliance, a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Boeing, is planning a lunar fueling station for spacecraft, capable of supporting 1,000 people living in space within 30 years. Billionaires Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Robert Bigelow all have companies aiming to deliver people or goods to the moon. Several teams comp...

An article by Discovery.com says, NASA could dramatically cut the cost of returning humans to the moon if it is willing to mine and sell the moon's natural resources, according to a study commissioned by the agency. The Space Frontier Foundation-penned study encourages NASA to mine the moon's hydrogen for the "commercial production of cryogenic propellant". The report estimates that there are 10 billion cubic meters of water on the moon's poles -- equivalent to Utah's Great Salt Lake. The mining operation could potentially reduce the cost of sending humans to the moon by 90%. First, however, NASA must send robotic scouts to confirm that the polar water is even harvestable. "This will be a complex operation requiring a period of growth, trial and error, failure, repair, and maintenance a...
Cut the bonds with the moon
And let the dogs gather
Burn the gauze in the spoon
And suck the poison up
Shut the door to the moon
And let the birds gather
Play no more with the fool
And let the souls wander
From the soul
A slow hurt.. and it breaks us..
And so down,
Down, down and so plain
When you play some more it seems so
And my friends are past this game
And our friends that are lost at sea..
And I'll break the wasted space
Slow down, slow down,
If you don't slow down, slow down
If you don't slow down, slow..
Cut the bonds with the moon
And watch the dogs gather
